Sixth grade camp at the Rahr Memorial School Forest has been a highlight for area youth dating all the way back to 1959.  The 293 acre of land has changed a great deal over the years, but the fond memories will forever be engraved in the minds of the campers.

Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe and Stangel sixth graders recently enjoyed their 2 ½ day excursion to the woods.  Highlights of their time included:  astronomy night hikes utilizing iPad apps while searching for constellations, Geocaching, campfire sing-a-longs, minute-to-win-it activities, nature hikes, bio blitz studies, archery, art at the beach, team challenges, and much, much more.
